Section V - Reactivity Hazard Data
Stability Unstable X Conditions to Avoid  Unstable with heat.  Can undergo rapid polymerization.
  Stable
Incompatibility (Materials to Avoid)  Incompatible with acids, bases, oxidizing and reducing agents, and UV light.
Material is a strong solvent and can soften plastics, paints, and rubber.
Hazardous Decomposition or Byproducts  Decomposes with heat.  Produces CO, CO2, and smoke.
Hazardous May Occur X Conditions to Avoid  Excessive aging, heat, inadvertent addition of catalyst, or
Polymerization Will Not Occur     ultraviolet light may lead to polymerization.
Section VI - Health Hazard Data
Routes of Entry:    Inhalation?   Skin?   Ingestion?
Primary routes of entry are by Inhalation and Skin Contact.
Health Hazards (Acute and Chronic)
Inhalation:  High concentration is irritant to the respiratory tract and may cause dizziness, head ache,
           nausea, and anesthetic effects.
Eye Contact:  Liquid and vapors can cause irritation (tears, blurred vision and redness).
Skin Contact:  May cause skin irritation and skin sensitization.
Ingestion:  May cause irritation, a burning sensation to the mouth, throat and gastrointestinal tract
          and abdominal pain.
Chronic Information:  Prolonged and/or repeated overexposure may lead to kidney, lung, liver, and heart.
damage.  No adverse birth defects, cancer, or reproductive effects anticipated.
Carcinogenicity:   NTP?   IARC Monographs? OSHA Regulated?
Unlikely to present a cancer hazard to man.
Signs and Symptoms of Exposure  Strong odor.  Overexposure may cause dizziness, headache, nausea, irritation
of respiratory tract, eyes, or skin.  Possible skin rash.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggrevated by Exposure  Possible skin sensitazation, breathing difficulty.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures  If inhaled, move to fresh air.  For skin contact wash with soap and water.
For eye contact, flush with water.  If ingested do not induce vomiting.  Give 2 glasses of water.
     Call a physician.
Section VII - Precautions for Safe Handling and Use
Steps to Be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled  Evacuate personnel, thoroughly ventilate area.  Remove any
source of ignition.  Prevent material from entering sewers or waterways.  Soak up with absorbant
     non-combustable material.
Waste disposal method  Spills in excess of 1000 lbs must be reported to National Response Center
(1-800-424-8802) and to appropriate state and local emergency response organizations.
Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storage  Keep vapor and liquid away from source of ignition.  Do not breathe
vapor or mist.  Do not get in eyes, on skin or ingest.  Wash thoroughly after handling.
Other Precautions  Store away from heat and direct sunlight.

Section VIII - Control Measures
Respiratory Protections (Specify Type)  Air-purifying respirator < 10X exposure limit, airline respirator < 100X limit.
Ventilation Local Exhaust Capture velocity 100 ft/min minimum. Special  N/A
Mechanical (General) Keep below exposure limits. Other Keep container tightly closed.
Protective Gloves  Use gloves to avoid skin contact. Eye Protection    Use safety glasses to avoid eye contact.
Other Protective Clothing or Equipment  Protective clothing, eyewash and safety shower where exposure warrants.
Work/Hygenic Practices  Keep area orderly.  Tightly close container after each use.  Wash thoroughly after handling.
